The short version
This one policy covers every Butikken app: Open Face Chinese, Flip4it, Bet-checker and Sportswhere. Each app's own section below says exactly what that app keeps.
Most of the apps sign you in with Google, and store your email, name and profile picture to run your account — other users never see your email address. Bet-checker is the exception: it has no account and no sign-in at all.
There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no tracking SDKs in any of our apps.
We collect nothing for advertising, profiling or resale — only what a feature you can see actually needs.
You can delete your account — in-app where the app has the button, by email otherwise — and we act on email requests within 30 days.
Who we are
Butikken is the publisher of a small family of apps. This policy explains what each app
collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the apps themselves and the
servers behind them. Where an app's behaviour differs from the others, its own section
below is the truth for that app.
Signing in with Google
Every Butikken app with an account uses Google sign-in, and they all treat what comes
back from it the same way:

Stored with your account. Where other users see a name at all, it is a nickname you choose — not your real name.

Links your sign-in to your account. It is an opaque id, not readable information about you.
A sign-in token is stored on your own device in the operating system's secure storage so
you are not asked to sign in every time. You can clear it by signing out.
One Google consent covers the Butikken apps together. Deleting your account in one app
does not delete your accounts in the others, and does not revoke Google's consent for
them — you can revoke Butikken's access entirely at
myaccount.google.com/connections.
What each app keeps
Open Face Chinese
A card-game app for Open Face Chinese poker.
Game history — hands, scores, sessions and statistics, tied to your account.
Nickname, friends, clubs — the nickname is the only identity other players see; clubs record membership, role and chip balance history.
Chips are a scorekeeping unit assigned by a club. They are not money, cannot be bought, and cannot be exchanged for anything through the app. We process no payments.
Photos of your real cards never leave your phone. The camera is used only in live sessions, the picture is shown back to you as a reference, and it is never uploaded.
Table chat is never stored — it is relayed in memory and gone when the session ends.
Deletion is in-app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your sign-in, name, nickname, friends and statistics. Hands and chip ledger entries from games you played with other people are kept without your name, so their records and the club's own accounts still add up. Clubs where you were the only owner are archived. You can also ask by email (address below), actioned within 30 days.
Flip4it
Three pure-chance 50/50 games, played locally or online.
Local play stores nothing. Pass-the-phone games, Touch and the Wheel run entirely on your device with no account and never reach a server. A local session's tally lives only on your phone.
Online play keeps your nickname, your online game results and standings, your friends, and the groups you belong to, tied to your account.
Deletion is in-app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your sign-in, email, name, picture, nickname, friends, stats and any groups you own. Results of rounds you played with other people are kept without your name, so their records stay correct.
Bet-checker
Reads a bet-slip screenshot and rates the price from the bettor's side.
No account, and no sign-in. Bet-checker is the one app you use without signing in, so we hold nothing that identifies you and there is no account behind it.
The slip screenshot you pick is read, then discarded. It is sent to our server, passed to Anthropic to be read into structured data, and not kept — neither the image nor the bets read from it are stored on our servers.
Slip images are sent to Anthropic, an AI provider, to perform that reading. They process the image on our behalf and we do not retain it.
Recent checks are stored on your device only. The app keeps a short list of the ratings you have seen — on your phone, never on a server. Clear it any time in the app (Recent checks → Clear), and it is gone if you delete the app.
No wagering. The app places no bets, holds no money and has no bookmaker links.
Sportswhere
Sports fixtures and where to watch them.
The least of the four: your account (the Google sign-in data above) and your in-app preferences, such as sports and teams you follow.
Fixture and broadcast data is licensed sports data, not personal data.
Deletion: email us (address below) and we act within 30 days.
What none of our apps collect
None of the following is collected, in any Butikken app
No advertising. There are no ads and no advertising identifiers.
No analytics or crash reporting. Our apps contain no analytics, telemetry or crash-reporting software.
No third-party tracking SDKs. None are present in any app.
No location data. Our apps never request or receive your location.
No contacts. Our apps never read your address book.
No microphone or audio. Our apps do not record audio.
No payment information. There are no purchases in any of our apps.
Who else handles your data
We do not sell or share your data, and we do not disclose it for advertising. A small
number of service providers process it on our behalf so the apps can run:
Google — sign-in. Google tells us your email, name and profile picture when you choose to sign in.
Anthropic — Bet-checker only: reads the bet-slip images you submit into structured data.
Neon — the databases your accounts and app data are stored in.
Railway — hosting for the servers the apps talk to.
Expo / EAS — build infrastructure for the apps. It does not receive your account data.
Firebase App Distribution — test builds only: testers' email addresses, used to deliver pre-release builds to people who signed up to test.
These providers are bound to process data only for us. We may also disclose data if the
law requires it.
Security
Traffic between our apps and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS, and secure
WebSockets where an app uses them). Your sign-in token is held in your device's secure
storage. We store no passwords — sign-in goes through Google.
How long we keep it
Account details and app data are kept while your account exists. Content that is never
stored — Open Face Chinese table chat and guest games, Flip4it local play — is never
stored, full stop. When your account is deleted, see below.
Deleting your data, and your rights
You can have your account and the personal data in it deleted, ask for
a copy of it, or have something corrected:
Open Face Chinese and Flip4it: delete your account in the app — Profile → Delete account.
Sportswhere: delete your account in the app — Profile → Delete account. You can also email us (address below) and we will action it within 30 days.
Bet-checker: there is no account and nothing is stored on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. The recent-checks list on your device you clear yourself — in the app (Recent checks → Clear), or by deleting the app.
Where an app's records involve other people — a game you both played, a club's chip
ledger — your identifying details are removed and the shared record is kept in a form
that no longer identifies you, so other people's own history stays correct. Each app's
section above says what that means for it.
Deleting an account in one app does not touch your accounts in the other apps. To cut
Butikken off from your Google account entirely, revoke access at
myaccount.google.com/connections.
If you are in the UK or EU you have rights under the UK GDPR / GDPR, including the right
to complain to your data protection authority. Our lawful basis for processing is
performance of a contract — running the app you asked to use.
Children
Our apps are intended for adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly
collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, email us
and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes
will be announced in the affected apps.
